These terms cover your use of Gift a Film, a service that makes a short personalized film starring someone you choose and delivers it to them. By ordering or receiving a film, you agree to these terms.

Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older to order a film.
• The person in the film must be an adult (18+).

Photos and permission

When you upload a photo, you confirm that:

• the person is an adult you know personally, and not a public figure;
• you have their permission to use their photo for this film;
• you have the right to share the photo with us.

Don't upload photos of children, celebrities or anyone who hasn't agreed. We may refuse or remove any film that breaks these rules.

What's not allowed

• Using a film to harass, embarrass, deceive or impersonate anyone.
• Presenting a film as real footage of events that didn't happen.
• Sexual, hateful or violent content, or anything illegal.

The recipient's choice

The recipient sees who sent the film and can choose to watch it or decline. They can remove their film at any time, and we'll delete it.

Your film

Films are AI-generated from our original templates. You and the recipient may keep and share the film for personal, non-commercial use. We keep the rights to our templates, music and artwork.

Payments, re-dos and refunds

• Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• If the film doesn't look like the person, tell us and we'll remake it once for free.
• If we can't make a film you're happy with, we'll refund you.

Delivery

We aim to deliver at the date and time you choose. Rarely, delivery may be delayed by technical problems outside our control.

Limits of our responsibility

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the film involved.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
